margarita of the DVOTIO duo took me out for some burgers, to talk life. margarita (based in montreal) and diana (based in milan) were in their last run of law school in colombia, but changed paths and started on their way to a more creative career. now they designs bows and jewelry, and more projects soon. baby steps. what i found great is that the women hired to make the bows are single mothers in colombia. margarita made it obvious that its really important for them to give back to their community. she kindly gave me a few dvotio creations, and ive already worn a few on the blog in the past. the moustache necklace is pretty perfect for when im fundraising for movember (prostate cancer)!

i pulled an all nighter last night trying to finish a term paper, ironically on sikhism. anyways, no sleep calls for zombie chic. a bun for practicality, an urban turban for fun and some comfort wear, which explains the vans.

<font face=helvetica>two parisians by the name of jeremy and kizda are the brains behind nous sommes. they make silver, gold and black chains of the famous faces you know and love. below is a photo of carrie from joze magazine, whom i came across in the streets of paris, wearing a gaga chain! check out their blog to see who else is wearing nous sommes and for more photos of their collection.

oh the lovely texan model erin wasson always stays busy with her modelling career, styling and designing. collaborating with everyone left and right, her work that im most in love with would have to be erin wasson for LOW LUV. im super picky with my jewelry. first of all, i like good quality. so real gold and silver is a must but if i cant get that then plated it is. occasionally i fall for the cheap crap, but after one time of washing my hands it all turns a nasty brass color and ends up being yet another waste of money! but on the other hand, i have a friend who takes good care of the thrifty stuff (by not putting it in water) and it lasts rather long.

everything about this collection i like. some pieces are very ethnic looking, very vintage, very omg-rare-find. its dainty yet tough at the same time. the kind of pieces which could become staples for everyday wear which comes from what wasson is best known for, simple low key style. everything is plated to last as well! my favorites are the bone stack bangle, snake ring, armour knuckle ring and cross pendant necklace.

with the start of the good weather and report cards came my paypal account and the beginning of my online shopping craze. those random items you can find on the internet are equivalent to those super cool gems you can only find in an obscure marketplace in nowhere, lithuania. im talking the kind of clothes and accessories i cant come across at the mall.

recently ive been hitting pure gold (ew ~goldzmine~ aha) and i found SHOP W.A.S. (with asian stereotypes). im not entirely sure what the title has to do with things, but thats the last of my concerns. this online store has got it good. the few random things i was thinking about purchasing, i found all on this website.

doing new goth oh so well, you can find your crosses/ satans crosses or saint peters crosses everywhere on the jewelry. i started to name my favorite items, but then i realized i was naming them all. the fox tails are super cute as well as the long dangle earrings (wear just one) and you cant go wrong with slipping on one of those tshirts as you run out the door.

what i find to be really impressive is that unless otherwise stated, the items are all handmade! coming soon is the UN-FAI†HFUL COLLECTION with which we can expect: more printed tees, totes, two finger rings, dyed rabbit foot necklaces, gold dagger earrings, inverted cross necklaces and a hell of a lot of cool stuff. im going to buy a thing or two right now!
