montreal fashion week fw11

montreal fashion week was last week, and so were half of my midterms! i wasn’t particularly enthusiastic about any shows, but i quickly caught denis gagnon, a staple here in montreal. i pulled out my yeshiva chic card, and my trusty steed, ian, who kindly (saved my life/) helped me walk the cobblestone and icy streets. essentially, my favourite thing about fashion week is just seeing my friends all in one place. it was a surprise to see as many unexpected and familiar faces backstage in makeup.

my stomach has found it’s soulmate, chloe wise’ stomach. back in suite 88 yet again, to eat our combined weight in chocolate. or, better yet, the weight of her purse? i never realized how much alexander wang bags weigh! so, this cool chickie models for dulcedo, is owner of vintage shop NAUGHTY MESS on etsy, and is a really talented artist. remember this little guy sitting in my room (5th photo)?! yeah, she’s good. to catch more of her lush looks, check out her blog!

just some photos via THE SELBY. i mean ive always loved this site but lately i cannot stop myself from perusing until the wee hours of the night ..as i am doing right this second, so i thought i’d share. the main cause for this is because ive basically been roomless all summer. i moved my stuff into a bedroom in my basement, chucking a lot of junk and went on to sell all of my furniture. a clean slate, you know?
im almost finished painting my room all white (its staying that way), just had to fetch another can of paint to top things off. im really excited for this fresh start but also nervous that i might buy the wrong color bed, or screw up and pick out a wonky desk. i should be done by this weekend so ill take photos to prove it!
