honestly, so so so lovely for off the hook to feature me on their blog! i picked out a few items for my holiday wishlist (YAY). wanted to keep it simple, and this is similar to an easy everyday outfit for me!

by far one of the best boutiques in montreal, i’ve been shopping and attending off the hook’s events for a handful of years now, and its amazing to see how much its grown. from exclusive products to crazy instore events, the online shop, gallery and their eye-candy of a blog, its been an honour getting to know the off the hook family. the staff are passionate, knowleagable and particularly talented in their side projects, be it blogging or design. big shout out to harry (1/2 owners) for being the COOLEST GUY IN TOWN. for details of my wishlist, please visit off the hook’s website!

much love to the off the hook team xxxxx

inventory 07 hot off the shelves. i new i needed it the second i saw it, because i’ve always sortof idolized nigo. if i could choose to hang out with anyone for a day, i would definitely spend the day picking the brains of nigo and pharrell. both so obscenely cool and innovative, yet very humble. i definitely appreciate and share their sense of aesthetic.

although ive come across this canadian publication many a time (a lot of my guy friends drool all over it), i never got the chance to take the time to read through it, until now. when i buy a magazine, its because i want to read every last word, not missing a single line of fine print. im still not done with this issue, but so far, so perfect. inventory has a lot of japanese flavor to it, and pays a lot of attention to brand history and details of design. i’ve been gushing over the layering and colors in the first editorial called ‘tashizan’, styled by fumihiko okabe (photo #2). i also particularly enjoyed the article ‘inside larry mckaughan’s vintage tokyo’, which lets you dive into the world of vintage americana classics and japan’s best collectors (photo #3). strongly encourage you to get your hands on a copy if you can!

throwback~

i’m not one for lines, so im very happy i was invited to the pre shopping party for the h&m x margiela collaboration. big thanks olivia from zoe pr! although it was h&m quality, i think the pieces were really well structured, especially the leather jacket (in the first photo). i had been scanning the collection for a while prior to figure out what exactly i wanted, but some of my favorites, like the candy clutch, were gone in seconds. i came out with the keyring necklace and white painted jeans (reedition from 1992, the year im born muhaha).

montreal has the most beautiful of fall’s, and its also my favourite season because its the only appropriate time to whip out all of my go-to jackets. recently got this penfield vest from the dudes over at tiger distribution (who distribute many favorites in streetwear around canada : wesc, penfield, brixton and gram). not only is the down so, so cozy but the jamieson’s of shetland fair isle knit is such a cute add on!

this months copy of japanese publication, popeye, is pages and pages of lowdown on what to do in new york. im really curious to read more because there are SO many nooks and crannies in that wonderful city, that every time i go, my trip is completely different. after im done with this mountain of work, i hope to put together a little guide of my favorite things in the city. heres a band i discovered last time i was there: newyorklovediary (뉴욕러브다이어리). check out my favorite song by them HERE.
