this is everything i could want in a bag. its super light weight and spacious, which suits me well because i have a tendency to want to carry the world with me everywhere i go. the fact that it fits my camera is a major selling point for me. it also has a long strap, for when i need to be hands free! this purse will probably be a longtime staple for me. its a classic, its black, and since its good old italian leather, it will probably last a long time. also, furla is more popular in europe and asia, so its nice to know i wont bump into someone with the same purse as me.
so thoroughly impressed with this 17 year old out of brooklyn. joey bada$$ leaves a lasting impression because i feel like what he does comes so naturally to him. i’m not one of those crazies going around saying ‘hip hop is dead’, but i do like how he breathes some fresh air back into an old school sound. plus, his verses are just too sharp; definitely mature beyond his years. to listen and for free download click here.
american apparel approached me to have a little shopping party for my readers and pals. a quadruple combo of discount shopping, good tunes, spontaneous nail painting and champagne. i was planning on getting some neon tanks/ skirts and things, but instead went all pastel. i had quite a good time seeing loads of familiar, and new faces! thanks to everyone who came, and hopefully you managed to pick up some summer duds.

showing signs of life from my top secret study hideouts. whenever im home, i get nothing done, so i am living downtown for the month and frequenting all the coffee/bubble tea shops that already know my face faaaar too well. anyhow, i was really into this ombre suit which i first saw on alice point. my jaw dropped just a tad when i saw it was from h&m. i ran over and bought the last jacket (no pants to be found). i’ve sortof been living in this for the past little while; its ridiculously versatile.
garance dore was given a lady dior to document her adventures around tokyo. although not everyone has a dior purse they would dare to color, hammer and pin things to, i found this video (and in the end, the bag) to be really beautiful. that, and garance just has that adorable, french, carefree flair to her. i was super excited when i saw yoon (1:36) in this video as well! she is way too cool of a lady. i am actually enrolled in japanese summer school, and every so often we go on field trips. this week we went to the botanical garden and were given tours of the japanese gardens. i particularly enjoyed the tea garden (if you know me, you know how much i love tea), and i learned how to purify myself/ enter tea house, just like garance at 0:47.
